Start Time:   7:03 AM
End Time:    7:16  AM

Title: Psalm 119 - Qoph
Scripture: Psalm 119:145 – 152

God’s Message / God’s Promise / God’s Commands:
Today, we learn about standing in faith no matter what!  This author spoke of desperation...he said that he call out at the top of his lungs for God to answer him - which denotes that this is a time in his life where God is not heard.  Are you in that time of your life right now?  Where no matter how you call upon God, there just seem to be no answer...all there is is silence.  Well this author is definitely going through that time in his life.  He was so desperate that he made a deal to follow or do whatever God say.  There was a hint of struggle when the author plead to be saved for the reason that he can carry out all His instructions.  Are you having a hard time carrying God's instructions today in your life?  Well, there's only one thing to do... call upon the Lord no matter how long it will take.  This author was up before sunrise, already crying for help, hoping for a word from the Lord...and if there's none, he did the same thing again the next day.  The commitment this author possess and faithfulness to keep on calling out to God despite of no answer every day.  May we never get tired of calling out to God in our lives each day no matter what.  This author spoke to God and sought for God to listen to him because of His love; because of His justice, the author asked God to keep him alive.  So note that when the author asked for something from the Lord, may it be for God to listen or to save him, it is only because of God's love and justice and never because the author obeyed or follow God.  A clear indication that this author understood the importance of humility.  Note that despite all this, the author only spoke of one thing, God is the closest to him and considered all God's judgments to be true including what he is going thru at that moment.  And he testified that he had known all along that God meant every word to last forever, every promise, every law, to last forever.  So he kept holding on to it - that becomes his driving force to remain faithful and firm in God despite of his circumstances.  May we all have the same driving force, commitment, passion, and faithfulness.

Prayer:
Lord what a wonderful lesson today.  Thank You Lord for teaching me to remain faithful and reminding me that all the evidence points out one thing - that Your word is true and they are meant to last forever.  Help me Lord to remain faithful and give me the strength to carry on when things doesn't seem to be going my way or has become inconvenient for me.  Thank You for hearing my prayer.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!
