Title: Psalm 119 - Zayin
Scripture: Psalm 119:49 –56

God’s Message / God’s Promise / God’s Commands:
Hallelujah! Praise God!  I have been searching for verses in the Bible for some time now that will represent God's words as source of life and I believe God has answered my prayer and led me to today's topic.  Zayin spoke of God's words/promises/law as if it is the only factor that brings hope and life to him.  Look at how he illustrates the value of God's words in his words.  In verse 49, it is his hope.  In verse 50, it is his comfort in his suffering and it preserves his life.  Now, this is what I'm seeking for; we know the Word of God is living and it has the capability of changing one's life.  But ultimately, I know that it is more than just living, it ultimately gives life.  God's words brings out life into whatever is dead or dying...and so in our lives today, if we feel like we are in the verge of death or if we are suffering and nearing our last breath...long for God's words.  His promises, His laws, His words, they are life to us.  They will bring hope and comfort and ultimately, strength to push and live on.  The author spoke of the arrogant mocking him unmercifully, but he chose not to turn away from God's law and there he found comfort.  Despite of the persecutions of oppression towards us, choose to stand firm and hold on to God's words because life comes from it and it will sustain us until the end of times.  So choose to obey His precepts...let it be our practice daily.  Amen!

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, wonderful Savior and amazing God!  I am truly blessed and touched today for finding answers to my questions.  Thank You for truly, when we seek and ask and knock, you show and give and open it for us.  Thank You Lord because truly, Your words/law/promises are true!  They are alive and life to us.  Help me Lord to always long for Your word each day and hold onto it as long as I am breathing.  Give me the desire to always seek for Your word each day Lord to sustain me from the daily challenges I have to face.  With Your words in my heart and You walking beside me, I know I can surpass all struggles and challenges that come my way.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!
