God’s Message/Promise/Commands:
A few days ago, the world has made a terrible mistake and people are still taking in the new change that was ruled by last Friday (June 26). Same-sex marriage...the hottest topic at the moment...until it becomes the past. For now, people are still talking, debating, arguing, sharing their opinions...about the said ruling last Friday. Some are very passionate and proud of what had been accomplished in the U.S., while others rant about the doom of the world because of this abomination. We've heard a lot of things said about this but the truth remains, what happened last Friday, has to happen for a reason and a purpose. It's a little weird or questionable to think that the legalization of same-sex marriage is part of God's plan. In truth, I believe God didn't design it to be part of any of His plans yet He knew that this day would come and that's why He warned us all many times in His words. Yet, when it happens, we're still caught off guard. Anyway, the Bible did say that there are 2 signs before the coming of the Lord; 1) it will be the darkest of times and 2) the Gospel will be preached throughout the World. With this new rule implemented last Friday, I can truly say that both signs will be seen manifesting really soon. People has been given the license to sin with this new law...and man will definitely take advantage of that. At the same time, the Christian community will be uprising because of this, which will then lead to the spreading of the Gospel. So it's been concluded, we are in the last of the last days. There's no running away from that truth. Yet in this potentially chaotic times, I say potentially because the world may be a mess right now, it's not in its fullest chaotic state yet. The world is still in its journey to that time. So, knowing that this is what's happening and will happen, what can we do? What can we really know for sure? Well, today's topic address that. Psalm 125 speaks of those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. Because as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so is the Lord surrounding us now and forevermore. This is our assurance! Our comfort! Knowing that despite of the darkest times or our journey towards it, because it is inevitable. The world will go through this phase and will end up at its darkest of times, so as we journey towards the darkest of times, we can be assured that when we trust God we are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken with whatever chaotic mess this world has for us; instead we will endure and endure we will forever! Hallelujah! So continue to trust God for His eyes is on those who do good and who are good; to those with upright heart and turn away from crooked ways...the Lord promised..Peace for Israel. Peace for those who trust in the Lord in a touch time like the time we have now. Amen!
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I am truly amazed of Your wonderful works in our lives. I am grateful to know the comforting words You have for us. The assurance that in this dark times, even as we go through the darkest of times, we can be assured that You surround us now and forevermore. Knowing that You with us will keep us strong and unshakable at a time like this; that despite of whatever difficulties or hardship we are to face, we know that we will endure them with You! Thank You Lord for Your words. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
