Scripture: Psalm 119:113 – 120

God’s Message / God’s Promise / God’s Commands:

→ Today, we are reminded of how it is to depend upon God - to hope and have faith in Him to sustain us in each day of our lives.  The author spoke of God's words/law as clear as black and while emphasizing on the Lord's just character.  He/she spoke of the "oneness" of truth...from the Lord, one that is stable and we can rely on.  That's why the author places his hope in God's words and depending on God to be his refuge and shield.  He recognizes God's words as his sustenance each day because his life is preserve through God's promises.  God will uphold us and deliver us in accordance to His decrees.  And God will discard the wicked as He said so He will.  Therefore, let us not be double-minded people but instead make a decision to choose God's words today and never waiver, for it is our daily sustenance.  God is our sustaining Grace each day so we ought to love His statutes, obey His law and stand by it.  Fear the Lord as one should and stand in the glory of the fulfillment of His amazing words and promises.  Hallelujah!

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank You for reminding me to stand firm on the right decisions I made.  Help me Lord each day to walk in total dependency in You.  give me the strength to survive each day with Your sustaining Grace as my strength, refuge, shield and life.  Help me to meditate in Your words day and night that I may continually live..and my life preserve by Your word.  Help me to see the value of understanding Your word and following it.  Give me wisdom each day to make the right choices of keeping my commitment in following You and Your words and not become a double-minded person.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!
