Start Time:   6:09 AM
End Time:    6:29  AM

Title: Psalm 119 - Lamedh
Scripture: Psalm 119:89 – 96

God’s Message / God’s Promise / God’s Commands:
Today, we learn about the word of God being eternal.  It never fades away or its truth never last.  It remains true from generation to generation.  What applies then is applicable now.  God's words established the earth and thru His words it endures for generations/eras.  Every day, you can find His word endures and firm.  But one thing that caught my eye is verse 92, the author said, "If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction."  This identifies the difference between the righteous and the wicked. Everyone both righteous and wicked are afflicted, yet the righteous do not perished during afflictions because of his/her desire for God's words.  God's words preserve the righteous' life and save them from their afflictions.  The wicked waits for our destruction yet the righteous who remains in God's words continues on.  And the highlight of this topic is at the end at verse 96, the author summed it all into one great truth, "To all perfection I see a limit, but your commands are boundless."  Very true!  No matter how beautiful, perfect or whole an idea, a person, nature or whatever it is we consider perfect, we will find its limitations in the end...yet for God's words, it transcends time, place, eras, people, etc.  So it is boundless!  One more reason to hold on to God's words at all times!

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for a great revelation.  Thank You for a powerful truth that reminded me the power of Your words.  Lord help me to develop the passion and desire to know Your words by heart, spirit, and mind at all times.  Give me wisdom to understand them that I may never forget.  Help me Lord to see things in Your perspective and learn to love Your law as if it is life to me.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!
