TITLE: The Lord Spoke to Job
Scripture: Job 41
God’s Message / God’s Commands / God’s Promises:
→ In this chapter, God illustrated His great power to Job by using the example of a Leviathan - the beast of the sea. A Leviathan is so wild that God even pointed out in verse 8 that if you lay a hand on it, you will remember the struggle and never do it again. In verse 9, God continued by saying, any hope of subduing it is false, the mere sight of it is overpowering. Clearly, God is showing Job the magnificence, power and glory and no man can ever come against it. Only God! Here we see the truth that no matter how big or huge the things we face in life, it may come like a bear or a lion or possibly a Leviathan - still it is in no match to God. So who are we to dare question His ruling? His decisions or plans. We are to follow and obey, not become an obstacle to God's perfect and magnificent plan. This chapter assures me that God is in full control no matter what. I can truly live a worry free life because God the Almighty possess such amazing power and authority on heaven and earth that the might and magnificent living beast like the Leviathan bows before His every word. This gives me great confidence to live worryfree because I trust God to deliver me and save me from harm.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You because You are an amazing God. Thank You because You illustrated Your great power to JOb in this chapter which also shows me Your amazing power and authority on heaven and earth. Thank You because You are in my side. Thank You because we are One so I can face every trial with great assurance that God is with me! In Jesus' Name, Amen!
