TITLE: The Lord Speaks

Scripture:  Job 40:1 - 25

God’s Message / God’s Commands / God’s Promises:

→ In this chapter, the Lord then asked Job if he is accusing the God Almighty?  God's words truly pierced deep into Job's heart and woken him up to his illusion of injustice, which is why he responded to God that he was unworthy to speak or answer.  But I want to focus on God's response to Job directly out of the storm from verse 6...when Job realized that he was unworthy to speak before the Lord, despite of Job's unworthiness, God give time and room to talk to Him and address his concerns.  What an amazing God we have!  I mean, Job was clearly unfit to be in the presence of the Lord after what he went thru, yet God made room for him and made sure that his concerns are discussed and all his worries or complaints are responded to - this again clearly showed God's Grace towards Job - His unmerited favor upon him when Job clearly does not deserve it!  Hallelujah!  God made sure to put job back where he belongs.  He spoke words that opened JOb's eyes of the truth that he has nothing in his own power of ability to save himself except the power and strength of God Himself.  God continued on by making the Behemoth an example (a behemoth is a wild beast).  The behemoth ranks first in the works of God, it is untamed and uncontrollable yet God, its maker, can approach it with sword.  So here we see God showing Job his human strength against the power of the living God!  And this continued onto the next chapter.  

What I want to focus is the words of the Lord and His Grace.  God's words pierced into man's heart that it yield an amazing result!  Upon hearing God's words, it shut Job up.  Everything Job was speaking of, the injustice he was airing out, went all away upon hearing the truth of God.  This is what the word of the Lord does!  It transforms our way of thinking and throws out our own understanding, our own logic out.  Then I am amazed of God's grace towards Job.  He heard the complaints of Job and though God had all the reasons to disregard JOb's words because those were meaningless or empty, God decided to give JOb the time and discussed everything he was complaining or concerning about.  God took that time and effort to win Job back and He succeeded!  Hallelujah!

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, I am amazed of Your great love and Grace towards us.  Thank you becuase You are willing to give us the time and effort to address all our concerns or empty words or feelings to win us back eventhough we clearly do not deserve Your time or effort.  Your Grace is truly amazing God and I am forever grateful of it.  Thank You becuase Your words pierced thru my heart and transforms me.  I accept it and I open my ears for it.  Change me Lord and show me Your amazing Grace every day of my life!  I love You Lord.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!
