TITLE: The List of the Exiles Who Returned

Scripture:  Ezra 2:1 - 70

God’s Message / God’s Commands / God’s Promises:

→ This chapter tells us the number of people who returned to Judah after they were exiled because of the evil ways they did before God.  But what captured my interest in this chapter is that the return process of the people were done orderly.  Truly God is a God of order.  When He calls us to do a task, He works with us on it and we can see that there’s peace and order always in His work.  I also want to note that the heads of the families freely given offerings for the building of the temple.  Again, provision comes or follows the work of the Lord.  That’s why, if you know and you know by heart that God is calling you to do a task, there’s no worry because time and time again, the Bible always tells us that provision (monetary) follows the work of the Lord.  But not only that, people workers also are provided by Him.  So when God calls you for a task, there’s really nothing to worry for He provides for everything and the best part is, everyone is in one spirit.  All the people who came back to the land, were focused and determined to build the temple, which is the desire that God placed under King Cyrus.  

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank You because You have thought of every details of Your work for us.  Thank You because You are still the main worker and we are just Your assistance.  Thank You because You give us peace and order when we do and follow Your calling.  Help me Lord to be sensitive to Your call and make sure to never worry of anything because as You have said in Your word, everything is provided from the monetary needs to the workers.  Thank You Jesus for everything.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
