Start Time:   9:33 AM
End Time:     9:47 AM

Title: Psalm 116
Scripture: Psalm 116:1 – 19

God’s Message / God’s Promise / God’s Commands:
What an amazing truth!  The author spoke of nothing but solid truth that are unbroken.  He spoke of God as his help.  The one who hears his cries for help.  And when he plead for mercy, God listens and delivers him.  He spoke of the reality that he was confronted by trouble and sorrow, yet when he called upon the Lord, God came to rescue his life. Aren't we all in the same situation one time in our lives, in fact, aren't we in that situation right now in our lives?  We get into serious trouble and God delivers us every time.  So this author gave one valuable advise.  He said in verse 7, rest once more, my soul for the Lord has vindicated you.  so in verse 9, he made a vow that he will serve the Lord in the land of the living.
Take note what the author said in verse 10-11, he said that he said, "I am severely oppressed.  I rashly declared." - we can all relate to this.  When we are in deep sorrow or trouble, we've declared rashly and say we are deeply oppressed but we failed to see how God comes to save us when we are in deep trouble.  Just by one call upon His Name, the Lord hears and rescues us.  Hallelujah!  Let us come to realize this and ensure that we remain in faith in God even in times when things seems to be at its end and there are no way out.  God will find a way, He always does!  So fulfill your vows to serve the Lord and worship the Lord in service and praise.  Amen!

Prayer:
Lord Jesus what a wonderful reminder to me that whatever trouble I am in, with just one call upon Your Name, You will come and rescue me.  Thank You Lord because You always know ahead of time what we need and when we do humble ourselves down, You always open Your ears for the cries of help we let out.  Lord thank You because You are truly great and awesome.  Thank You for reminding me of my vow to serve You.  I pray that You will empower me and strengthen me to always be physically and spiritually and emotionally and intellectually (in all aspect of my life) ready to serve, worship and praise Your Name!  In Jesus' Name, Amen!
