Title: Psalm 105.
Scripture: Psalm 105:1 – 45
God’s Message / God’s Promise / God’s Commands:
→ What a great day! A great day to remember all the great things
God has done for us and praise His Name for it.
This is what this author is talking about when he wrote Psalm 105. He spoke of the past how God set everything
so His glory is known. So he encouraged
us all to rejoice and be glad but most of all remember the Wonders God has
done, His miracles, and judgments! In
all these remembering that the author wants us to do, there's one thing that
stood out in his words...and that is the truth that God is faithful to His
covenant to us. The promises God made
for all of us, He is committed and faithful to it no matter what. As the author, illustrates and spoke of all
the miracles did from Abraham, to Isaac, to Jacob, to Joseph even to Moses, you
will hear the author saying, God remembers His covenant, the promise He made
for a thousand generations. So today,
let us call upon God! Worship Him and
exalt Him, knowing full well that He is faithful to what He said He will
do! Hallelujah!
Another thing I learned from this
chapter is how Egypt felt after releasing Israel. In verse 38, it says there that "Egypt
was glad when they (Israel) left, because dread of Israel had fallen on
them." Although the gladness of the
Egyptians were because the curse is no longer on them when Israel left...we can
learn a great deal out of their experience.
We can learn that when we set the Israel free or do something in their
favor, we ourselves will be set free from the curse God has for those who fight
against His people. So in reality,
Israel's happiness, is ours too! What a
great revelation!
Prayer:
Lord thank You for a wonderful
revelation! First off, for the truth
that You have been instilling in me for the past few weeks now...and that is
You are true to Your promise! You are
faithful to Your words no matter what!
Hallelujah! And I stand by it
Lord! But another great revelation today
is that Israel's safety, freedom, happiness also equates to our own joy, our
own blessings, our own happiness. Only
when Egypt released Israel that gladness was in their hearts. Lord help me to help my brothers and sisters
in Israel. Give me wisdom on how I can
be involved and provide assistance, right now, all i can think of is through
prayer. So help me Lord to pray for
them. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
