Start Time: 9:29 AM
End Time:  9:54 AM

Title: Of David.
Scripture: Psalm 26:1 – 12

God’s Message / God’s Promise / God’s Commands:
David lived such an interesting life and one that is filled with wisdom.  In this chapter, I am amazed of David's character because he was confident to seek God's testing in our lives.  Oftentimes, we want to live a comfortable life and doesn't want to go through any trials or testings but look at David in this chapter, he asked for vindication from the Lord because he was sure that he led a blameless life.  He trusted the Lord and had always been mindful of God's unfailing love for him and so he lived in reliance to God's faithfulness alone.  So he asked God to examine his heart and test him.  How many of us can truly have the heart of David?  i believe David was not being proud at this point... but he was seeking God to vindicate him and as we learned, seeking includes change, and i believe that David is seeking God and so he asked God to examine his heart so he can be worthy and right before the Lord.  This was not an act of pride but more of humility.
Again, as David asked God for vindication, his psalm or prayer includes more of what God does or how great God is rather than the importance of his need for vindication.
I also want to note how David loves the house where God's live.  Clearly, this is a man who wants every moment spend with the Lord.  he wants to be where God is - sounds like God's presence is his life or breath.  May we have the same desire and realization of the great value of God's presence in our lives.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for another great lesson.  Help me to have the humble heart of David that when i seek You, I am open to change and correction.  Help me to see the value of Your presence in my life.  Give me wisdom Lord to know and understand Your will and that I may implement it and apply it in my life.  in Jesus' name, Amen!
