Title: Learn It By Heart.
Scriptures: Proverbs 4:20 – 27

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:
Hear the words of Solomon today urging us to listen, keep his words and learn it by heart.  But most importantly to discover them for they are living words that brings life and health to us.  So I want to emphasize on the discovery part of Solomon's advice.  Each day, we don't just hear, listen and take God's word to heart but we are to discover them manifesting in our lives.  Amazing!  Let us anticipate the discovery of God's words manifesting in our lives each day.

Solomon also warned us to be vigilant over our heart...for that's where life starts.  Avoid bantering, white lies, and gossip.  Note that in Solomon's warning, he warned about our heart but mostly about what comes out of our mouth.  So we ought to be careful and vigilant on what we say...but keep our eyes straight to our goal to the righteous path as directed by the Wisdom from God.  We are to watch our steps and when we do, the road we take will be smooth before us.  So it is important to be cautious in every step we take and ensuring that we guard our heart and mouth along the way.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, what a great morning and message!  Thank You for showing me the importance of not just hearing or listening or taking Your words to heart but ultimately, discovering it coming true in my life each day.  Open my eyes Lord that I may see the realization of every word You speak.  And along the way, help me Lord to be vigilant in guarding my heart and my mouth.  Give me the conviction in my heart to keep my heart and mouth in check always.  Let nothing that is not of you comes in or out of my heart and mouth.  May my eyes will always be fixed to You at all times that I may not lose my way to Your path.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Memory Verse Share for the Day:
Proverbs 4:23-24 (The Message Version)

"Keep vigilant watch over your heart; that’s where life starts. Don’t talk out of both sides of your mouth; avoid careless banter, white lies, and gossip."

Guard your heart my friends and screen your words for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

Good morning!
