Title: The Very Tree Of Life.

Scriptures: Proverbs 3:13 – 18

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:

Proverbs 3:13 - 18, King Solomon gave a great advise that we all need to remember each day.  Solomon pointed out the importance and value of wisdom but he made sure to compare it to what people perceive as important in life - money/wealth/salary.  Clearly, Solomon has a deeper understanding of man's desires.  As the wisest and richest king of his time, you wouldn't think that he would have problems with money yet he saw and knew how money is important.  In most cases, we tend to neglect the importance of something we have abundant of...if we have a lot of rice, we don't see its value the same way those who doesn't have rice.  Yet Solomon in his true wisdom from God saw the importance of money despite of the fact that he was very rich, in fact, the richest in his time.  And that's why, when he said that wisdom is valuable, he compared its value to something that all humans can relate to... the value of money.  Money equates to survival in man's world.  It is necessary to live but to Solomon, wisdom is necessary to survive, wisdom is vital to live.  In fact, Solomon even emphasized that the importance of wisdom is far greater than the value of money in our lives today.  And so we ought to seek her (wisdom)!  Wisdom gives long life...for it is the tree of life!  So let us embrace wisdom and seek her each day of our lives. 

The next crucial fact that we ought to remember is the right kind of wisdom, well, there's only one, God's wisdom - all other else is fake wisdom.  So seek God's wisdom through His words each day and embrace it.  Then you will be blessed!  Amen!

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, Gracious and merciful Father.  Thank You for a wonderful message today.  Lord, like Solomon, I ask of You today, Your wisdom.  Lord give me the full understanding of Your ways and plans that I may have greater knowledge of what is right and wrong.  Help me Lord to not just learn Your word but apply it in my life...Help me to impart the knowledge or wisdom You have entrusted in me today as I share my daily memory verse to others.  May it impact them in the same way or even more than it did to me.  Blessed the people who will read it and may they will understand and seek Your wisdom too daily.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!
