Amazing day with Jesus! Proverbs 28:20 says...

20 People who can be trusted will have many blessings, but those who are just trying to get rich in a hurry will be punished.

We all want to be rich; to have a life of abundance is something, I believe, humans desire.  And sometimes, our desire is so strong than our morals that we end up prioritizing making money than doing what is right.  Thus, the verse tells us that those who are trying to get rich in a hurry, they will be punished.  But one thing that I learned from the verse today is the value of being trustworthy.  Honesty, integrity, reliability, are just a few character traits that make a person trustworthy and God tells us that if you are someone who can be trusted, you will reap many blessings.  Today, the word is telling us that instead of focusing on getting quick or fast money, why not build the right characters to become trustworthy, then see for yourself, blessings upon blessings coming your way!

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank You for this wonderful verse that tells me to nurture and build my character to become someone others can trust.  Thank You for teaching me what to prioritize and to value.  Help me to work on myself and my character and not concerns myself of materialistic views or gains.  Give me the wisdom to identify what's more important and I know that You will bless me more than I could ever think of.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!
