Amazing day with Jesus! Proverbs 29:20 says...

20 There is more hope for a fool than for someone who speaks without thinking.

It's so easy to say whatever we want especially when we are at the peak of our emotions.  We want to say things that will hurt someone because they hurt us.  At times, we just say things without thinking that the words we let out of our lips can actually cause damage to others that will not be repaired.  So it is crucial that we filter our words and understand the impactof it as soon as we let it out from our lips.  Know that whatever words you let go, it will never be taken back, just like time.  So treat your words like a precious asset and not squander it around.  Note that the Bible tells us that a fool has more hope compared to someone who speaks without thinking.  So don't be a fool but more importantly, don't be someone who speak without thinking.  Your words are powerful, so think before you speak.

Lord Jesus, thank You for reminding me about my words.  At times, I can be tactless or careless of my words.  I want to say things to hurt someone or at times, i just want to say things without thinking.  Help me Lord to be careful with my words.  Give me wisdom to use my words properly and for Your glory.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!
