Title: Make the Right Choice
Scriptures: Proverbs 29:8

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:

Amazing day with Jesus! Proverbs 29:8 says...

8 Proud people who laugh at what is right cause problems that divide whole cities, but people who are wise are able to calm those who are angry.

Many people today are too proud to humble themselves and recognize their mistakes...instead, they point out the mistake of the other person and make it a big deal, with the hopes that their mistakes will be overshadowed by it.  I always believe that in every situation or problem, it always takes two to tango.  So if you are involve in a heated argument or issue, then you took some part ot it.  So whether you are fighting for what you think is right and the other person was fighting for the opposite, to escalate into a heated argument or a fight, takes you and the other person's full cooperation.  We are too proud to recognize our mistake because we blindly believe that what we are fighting for is what is right and just.  When in fact, when you are fighting for what is right and fighting for it in the right way, it shouldn't have escalated to a full blown argument in the first place.  So don't be the proud person that the Bible speaks of who causes division, instead be the wise who can calm those who are angry.

Happy Thursday!

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank You for a wonderful message today.  Thank You for giving me a choice to do what is right, although at times, i still choose what is wrong.  I am blinded by my emotions and i ended up becoming too proud to admit my own mistakes.  So today Lord, I ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing from whatever mistakes I had, have and will make.  I know I am not perfect but every day, You give me the opportunity to choose what is right, yet I still fail You at times.  So Lord, give me wisdom and strength to battle the temptation of giving into my feelings and making the right choices each day.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!
