Amazing day with Jesus! Proverbs 27:1 says...

Never brag about what you will do in the future; you have no idea what tomorrow will bring.

There's a difference between planning the future and bragging about them.  This verse tells us that we don't know what the future brings so don't go bragging what you think will happen tomorrow for you.  But to plan for tomorrow is different.  I believe that we ought to have plans in life and planning your tomorrow is a wise thing to do.  But be careful because at times, we are too excited and overly confident of what we think we can achieve that we tend to talk about it like it's already a sure thing.  The truth is only change is sure in this world.  So no matter how sure you are of what the future brings, even if it is 99% sure, never forget that there's still this 1% missing.  So go ahead plan your tomorrow then trust God that whatever tomorrow brings, it is for the best because He holds your future in His hands.

Lord Jesus, thank Your for reminding me that my life is in Your hands. Thank You for assuring me that even if things don't work out as I have planned it to be, everything happened and will happen because You have allowed them to.  And You are in control.  You have my life and in the center of Your palm so I don't need to worry.  Thank You for this Lord and for the peace and assurance that You will take care of me. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
