Amazing day with Jesus!  Proverbs 28:23 says...

23 Correct someone, and later they will thank you. That is much better than just saying something to be nice.

As Filipinos, we are known to be polite - at times, we are too polite to a point that we don't really mean what we said or we say nice things to make people feel better but end up hiding the truth of what we feel or think.  It's good to consider other people's feelings but when you know someone is in the process of ruining their lives, whether that person is family, friends, coworkers or even someone you just met, isn't it somehow our obligation to stop the person from ruining his/her life?  The saying, "mind your own business", has been very popular today that we end up not caring at all.  But we are not designed that way.  God Himself gave 2 greatest commandments: first is to love Him with all of us and the 2nd is to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.  I'm not saying that we make everyone's business our business but if we can do something to correct or prevent someone in ruining their lives, I believe, it's worth it!  We have a duty as God's children to love our neighbors.  So don't allow someone to destroy their lives today, interceed or mediate if necessary and save a life :)

Lord Jesus, thank You for a wonderful and amazing lesson today.  Help me to care and love others.  I have been isolated and limited with my interaction with people that at times I feel like I have become numb to other's needs.  Give me the sensitivity to understand and feel what other's are going thru and give me the wisdom to help them choose the right path or choices in their lives. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
