Title: The Wise Vs The
Fools
Scriptures: Proverbs 23:9
God’s
Message/Promise/Commands:
Amazing day with Jesus! Proverbs 23:9 says, 9 Don’t try to teach
fools. They will make fun of your wise words.
Wow! It is not just that fools
don't listen to wise words, they actually make fun of them. Have you ever been in a situation when you
gave your words (seriously and you know that your words have wisdom) yet you
ended up made fun of? Well, I guess you
have become a victim of the fools trickery.
Fools turn the table around and make you look like the fool when you say
or do the right thing. Example, when you
don't smoke or drink, more often, you become the "kill-joy" of the
group and ended up one of the many topics they talk about and make fun with
when they are together and drunk. This is just a classic example but i'm sure
there are many others. But don't be
ashamed, do what is wise and right!
Because the wise will always know who's the real fool in the group.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus thank You for such
wise words today. Help me to remain
strong and firm when it comes to my stand in what is right and wise. Help me not to get swayed by the foolishness
of others. Give me the courage to stand
up what is right and wise. In Jesus'
Name, Amen!
