Title: Keep God’s Words in Your Heart and Have it Ready At All Times
Scriptures: Proverbs 22:17-18

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:
Amazing day with Jesus!  Today, I started the day in a rush.  It was unexpected but God help me through it!  So, now that I have time, let me calm myself up, breathe, and just be still and learn from God, who set things in order at all times.  Proverbs 22:17 - 18 says, 17 Listen carefully to these words from the wise. Pay attention to what I have learned. 18 It will be good for you to remember these words and have them ready when they are needed. Solomon is telling us to listen to God's words and what he learned.  For it will be good for us to remember these words and have them ready when needed.  It will not be everyday that we will have such great revelation from God when we read His words but as for Solomon, everything we heard/read from God, we must keep to heart because a time will come when those words will be necessary!  So never get tired of learning from the wisest man on earth or from the source of all knowledge, wisdom and truth because one day in our lives, it will only be His words that will keep us going.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, help me to always be consistent in reading and learning from You.  Help me Lord to never take Your word lightly or easy but to take it to heart and instill it in my mind and when the right time comes along, may Your wisdom and power, remind me of all the things I learned from You each day.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Never ever get tired of learning and ready the word of God!  King Solomon tells us to keep God's words and have them ready when needed.  So there will be times when only the word of God will keep us moving.  So never get tired of reading and listening to His words because time will come when it will only be our anchor or our hope to live on.  God said everything will fade away but His words will remain forever.  So open that Bible you've hidden for so long and read His words today!

Title: Generous Hands are Blessed Hands
Scriptures: Proverbs 22:9

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:
Amazing day with Jesus!  Today, I want to talk about Generosity.  Proverbs 22:9 says, "Generous hands are blessed hands because they give bread to the poor." I was awaken by this truth.  The fact is, I consider myself a generous person until I read this verse.  Because in reality, many times, I am generous when it is convenient for me.  I give to the people I know who are in need, sometimes even beyond what they need.  But verse 9 spoke of a generous hands being blessed for the sole reason that those hands give bread to the poor.  I can consider myself generous but do I have blessed hands?  Because according to this scripture, generous hands are only blessed when they give to the poor.  So, do we give to the poor?  Or do we give to the people we consider poor and in need.  I am guilty of this because I give only to those I feel deserves it but it's no way written in the Bible that we give to those who deserve it only.  In fact it generalizes that we give to the poor.  So anyone who is poor, we ought to give.  Amen!

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for a great message.  Thank You for making me realize that to have a blessed hands, I need to give to the poor.  Help me Lord to give to the poor even if I don't think they deserve it.  Give me this conviction in my heart and let me realize that I need to give to the poor not specifically to be blessed because You have commanded me to do so.  And to have a blessed hand is just an added bonus.  Give me wisdom Lord to apply what I learned today.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Memory Verse Share for today:
Proverbs 22:9 (The message version)

Generous hands are blessed hands because they give bread to the poor.

Are you generous?  How many times have we given only when it is convenient to us?  Well, today God tells us that we may think or consider ourselves a generous person but only when we give to the poor that our hands are blessed.  God didn't say to give to the poor who deserve them or to those who work or showed effort to get out of poverty.  God plainly said, give to the poor because those hands who give to the poor are blessed hands.

Title: Live By the Knowledge of Truth
Scriptures: Proverbs 22:12

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:
Amazing day with Jesus!  Today, God tells us to seek knowledge or pursue it rather than deception.  Verse 12 of Chapter 22 says, "God guards knowledge with a passion, but he’ll have nothing to do with deception." God, Himself, protects knowledge and ensure its validity kept safe or its value intact but he does not want anything to do with deception.  It is important that we strive to know and live the truth rather than be blinded by deception or worst, become a deceiver.  Sometimes, it is easier to believe what others tell us and just trust their words rather than seek to know the truth and undertand it.  This is in the point of the receiver of the deception. Sometimes it is easier for us to make up lies and deceive others than tell the truth or allow others to know the truth.  But today, God tells us that He guards, He protects, He secure knowledge or the truth, so whether we decide to tell it or not, the truth remains intact and whole...and someday, when God permits, it will come out and reveal itself.  However for those who decides to deceive or tell lies to others, God has nothing to do with them so there's no one protecting or guarding them, which means they are open to attack of the enemy, which is safe to say that their end is destruction.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for the truth, Thank You for the knowledge of the truth Lord.  Help me to remain truthful at all times and to ensure that I speak the truth and not lies that will deceive others.  Help me to live the truth in my life and to choose it at all times, knowing that Your protection comes with the truth.  Help me to resist telling lies Lord, whether intentionally or not.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Proverbs 22:12 (The Message Version)

God guards knowledge with a passion, but he’ll have nothing to do with deception.

God delights in the knowledge of the truth and guards it with passion.  So we ought to live by it with the knowledge and assurance that when we do speak of the knowledge of the truth (Christ), then we are guarded and protected by God Himself.  However when we lie and deceive others, we know that nothing good will come out of it because God has nothing to do with it.

May we live in the knowledge of truth today.

Title: Be Prudent
Scriptures: Proverbs 22:3

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:
Amazing day with Jesus!  Today, God tells us to be prudent.  Be wise!  Proverbs 22: 3 says, "A prudent person sees trouble coming and ducks; a simpleton walks in blindly and is clobbered." God is telling us to be prudent and know when to duck, hide, or run away.  It is not always right for us to fight back; we don't have to face every attack that comes our way.  At times, God tells us to sit back or hide or run.  At times, God tells us to stop and don't go into a battle blindly, without a plan, because for sure we will be clobbered.  In the end, no matter what battle we face each day, we are to depend on God on what moves we take.  It is important that we wait and listen to his instructions - it is the most prudent thing we can do.  Wait for His word because His directions will lead us to safety.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for reminding me that I don't need to fight all the battles that come my way.  There will be times that I will just need to run or hide but at times, I need to fight back too.  But in all of the battles, I need to be wise or prudent and make sure to depend on Your instructions.  Give me the patience to wait for Your word Lord.  Help me to listen and sensitive to Your word each day.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Title: To Outwit or Outsmart Someone is to lead Yourself into Your ruin
Scriptures: Proverbs 22:16

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:
Amazing day with Jesus!  Today, we will talk about being wise or prudent.  Many poeple thinks that when they outwit someone, they are wise.  They feel that when they fooled someone or they outsmarted someone, they feel this sense of pride that they are able to outplay or trick someone else.  But in verse 16 of Proverbs 22, God says, "Exploit the poor or glad-hand the rich—whichever, you’ll end up the poorer for it." So you may feel this sense of pride for what you did because you outsmarted someone else, in the end, God says you will still end up the poorer for it.  Know that to outwit, outsmart or trick someone is never a wise thing to do - in fact it is a foolish thing to do as you are only leading yourself to your ruin.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for a wonderful lesson today.  Help me Lord to always remember that there is no pride or joy in outsmarting someone else.  It is never a smart move for anyone to play tricks on others.  Instead we ought to be sincere, honest and righteouse when we treat others.  Give me the control and wisdom to do this Lord that my mindset is directed to what is pure and noble in You.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Title: Take a Break from Bickering and Griping
Scriptures: Proverbs 22:10

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:
Amazing day with Jesus!  Today, I'm having a great time with God!  So much to learn from Him each day.  God has taught me something even before I opened the bible today.  For the past few days, I kept on griping (express a complaint or grumble about something, especially something trivial) about work.  My work is not something trivial however my complaints are.  For the past few days, I have been talking to my sister about how tired I am having 3 works, how I want to quit, etc.  Then early this morning before I opened my Bible, I watched a video posted in FB and it contained an audio conversation between a customer service agent and a PLDT customer.  It was terrible and the customer was being polite but he was hassled so he may have use some fowl language but definitely not directed to the agent, however the agent misunderstood it and took it personally and broke down.  In short, she (agent) was unprofessional and way out of line.  As I contemplate in this, I realized that the agent may have gone through a lot of things during that day but she chose to let her anger out to an innocent customer which caused the terrible fight.  Then God showed me that the agent was too focused on herself, which caused her to breakdown, like how the job benefited her, how it is stressing her so much, how it is becoming toxic, etc...when in fact, the job of that lady was being a customer service, meaning to help!  So the focus of the lady, instead of helping is now turned into how is this job going to benefit me?  And this brought me to my own way of thinking.  God showed me that for the past few days I have been griping and murmuring about how tired I am and how I want to quit, because I was solely focus on what this job can do for me!  I forgot the purpose of this job, which is to help those who are in debt, to help those who need work and those who are looking for work.  So that's why my 3 jobs are becoming toxic because I was so focused on what I can get from them when I should have been focused on the main purpose of the job and that is to help others.  So God is telling me, Kick out the troublemakers and things will quiet down - in my case, the troublemakers is my own selfish thinking and once I changed my perception or my way of thinking, I will then realize that the complaints will fade and quiet down.  I will have a break from all this griping or complaining.  Thank You Lord!

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for a powerful and amazing truth today!  I am blessed that You are able to show me my wrong doings and allowed me to work on myself to become more productive.  Thank You Jesus because Your word causes my way of thinking to change and to be aligned to Your purpose.  Help me Lord to remember this at all times that I may always find myself doing my work with a purpose to help others and not think of myself only.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Memory Verse Share for today:
Proverbs 22:10 (The Message Version)

Kick out the troublemakers and things will quiet down; you need a break from bickering and griping.

Have you been bickering and griping lately?  Take a break from all the complaints and arguments y kicking out the troublemakers.  Note though that sometimes, the troublemakers are just us.  I have been complaining about work for some time now and God made me realized that the cause of all my complaints is my wrong thinking.  I kept on thinking how my work can benefit me or what can I get from it?  And this is causing me to be unsatisfied because I am missing the point!  When God gave Adam and Eve their responsibilities (work), it was to take care of the land, the animals and to multiply. All of those works are for the purpose of helping others - the animals, the land even their offspring!  So in short, our work is more for others than it is for us!  So the reason why I kept complaining is because I failed to see that my main purpose in work is to help others and how I can be of service to them.

May we find our main purpose in everything we do!

Title: The Cure Comes Through Discipline
Scriptures: Proverbs 22:15

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:
Amazing day with Jesus!  Proverbs 22:15 is our word for today.  It says, "Young people are prone to foolishness and fads; the cure comes through tough-minded discipline." Wow!  What a strong and powerful wise words from our God today.  It is true, when we are young, we are so easily swayed and influenced by things, including what is "in" or trending today.  Even to this day, some of us still get caught up with the fad or what they say the "revolutionary fad" of today, the popular "aldub" kalyeserye.  People stop what they do to watch and focused their eyes on TV.  It is amazing how we can be so drawn to something as how this aldub phenomenon has drawn many people today.  Yet, the cure to whatever foolishness we make is tough-minded discipline.  I kept wondering why people can spend 2-3hours watching the aldub kalyeserye when they can't even open their Bibles for 30mins.  And the answer is here, because it will require tough-minded discipline.  It is our cure to our impulsive actions and foolish reactions, discipline!  So yes, it takes much effort to just open your Bible and read the word of God because only those that holds a tough-minded discipline in their lives can resist the fad and focus on the truth.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, help me build and cultivate a tough-minded discipline in my life.  I want to be able to resist the fads or whatever foolishness I have in me so I get to live a life with discipline and in Your righteousness.  Give me the power and control Lord, better yet, take the control and lead me so I may be able to resist whatever temporary trend there is and be one with You at all times.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Title: Victory Comes From God
Scriptures: Proverbs 21:31

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:
Amazing day with Jesus!  Today, God says in verse 31 of Proverbs 21, "Do you best, prepare for the worst - then trust God to bring victory" Hallelujah!  In reality, this is all we can do.  To give our best, ready ourselves for the worst and trust God to bring victory.  Whatever plans, projects, or works we have for today, we are to give it our best.  We trust God for the victory and hope for the best outcome too but it doesn't mean that we are blinded to one possible outcome only because we have trust God.  Remember trusting God and doing your best doesn't mean you will get the best result too...it is up to God to bring the victory if He allows it to.  So that's the reason why we still need to prepare for the worst.  However what I realized that when we do our best and when we realize that the outcomes of what we do, is never fully 100% based on the effort or work we give, we will learn to let go and not stress ourselves with every little thing we do.  Because although what we sow we reap, meaning when we give good effort in the work we do, it will also produce good product, the full victory will always be dependent on God and He gives victory or not because He has a reason and a purpose.  So let us fully trust Him and do our best at the same time in whatever we do in life.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank you for reminding me to do my best in everything I do but still prepare myself for the worst because no matter how much effort I give, in the end, victory comes from You alone.  Help me Lord to continue to pursue great things and to do the best in whatever I do and to always trust You fully for the end result.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Memory Verse Share for today
Proverbs 21: 31 (the Message Version)

Do your best, prepare for the worst— then trust God to bring victory.

Remember victory only comes from God.  So in everything we do, let's give it our best and trust God but let us not be blinded and focus on success only because we can do our best and trust God but the end result is still not the victory we are looking forward to.  That's why it is crucial that we ready ourselves for the worst and assure ourselves that no matter what the outcome is, when we trust God, He will take care of us.  When we realize that the result of the things we do is not PURELY based on our effort, we will learn not to stress ourselves and let go easily.

Title: Hold Your Tongue And Save Yourself From Grief
Scriptures: Proverbs 21:23

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:
Amazing day with Jesus!  Today, God tells us in Proverbs 21:23 to watch our words and hold our tongue; you'll save yourself a lot of grief.  Such wise words for us today.  The hardest part of our body to control is our tongue and at times, we easily blurt out whatever we feel we want to without realizing the damage it will cost us.  So today, God tells us to save ourselves from grief by watching our words and holding our tongue.  Even when it feels right and we know that what we want to say has a point, we have to learn to control ourselves.  How many times have we spoken too soon and ended up regretting the things we said?  I know I'm guilty and so most of us are.  So today, let's take God's advice and watch our words and hold our tongue, in the end we are saving ourselves by doing so.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for another wonderful day and amazing time with You.  Thank You for a great reminder to learn to control or watch my words and hold my tongue.  At times, everything in us says to speak but oftentimes, we end up regretting the words that come out of us after we've released it.  So Lord, help me to hold my tongue and watch my words at all times and guide me to the words that I need to say to bring life to others.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Title: A Glorious Life
Scriptures: Proverbs 21:21

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:
Amazing day with Jesus everyone!  Another powerful lesson we have today from Proverbs 21.  God says in verse 21, "Whoever goes hunting for what is right and kind finds life itself-glorious life!" Hallelujah!  With the negativity around, the rumors of wars, news of different calamities, in a time when everyone is looking only for him or herself, it's so hard to find kindness or "right" around us.  There is a struggle to do what is right and be kind too because of the cruelty in the world.  But today, God is saying, hunt for what is right and kind and you will find life itself, and not just any kind of life, but a glorious life!  So in a time when everything seems to be bad or worst, let us seek for kindness and what is good and what is right - then we will find a treasure, more precious than gold and silver - one that we will treasure, a glorious life!

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for Your wonderful words.  Thank You for reminding me today to seek for what is right and kind, that in a mess up world, kindness still exists!  Righteousness is still available.  I just need to hunt for them and the search will be an amazing and beneficial act for me as what's in-store ahead is a glorious life for me.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Title: Justice Will Always Prevails
Scriptures: Proverbs 21:18

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:
Amazing day with Jesus!  We have another awesome word from our Lord in verse 18 of Proverbs 21 today.  It says, "What a bad person plots against the good, boomerangs; the plotter gets it in the end." Hallelujah!  What an amazing assurance from God today!  The devil/enemy has plotted many evil schemes for us each day, it is a fact and one that we should not be surprised or shocked of anymore, but the Lord, out of His goodness and grace, has made this evil plot to taunt him (the enemy) more than it taunt us.  It will backfire one way or another and in the end, whatever evil plot they made against us will bite them in the ass.  But have you seen a boomerang?  At times, when you throw it, it will still hit your target, then it comes back to you.  So note that at times these evil plots against us will many times still hit us and broke us down but there's no need to plot revenge because in the end, God will ensure that their evil ways or plots will run back to them and hit them as hard as it hits us.  Just trust God and hold on to Him at all times.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for a wonderful word today.  For assuring me that no matter what evil plots the enemy has for me, I can be assured that justice will be served because You will make sure of it.  Lord help me to stand up when I get push down or I get hit by this boomerang and to stay strong onto my faith to You.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Scriptures: Proverbs 21:17

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:
Amazing day with Jesus! Another marvelous time with God everyone.  Today, I want to share verse 17 of chapter 21 of Proverbs, which may be more relatable to the younger generation.  Verse 17 says,  "You're addicted to thrills?  What an empty life!  The pursuit of pleasure is never satisfied." Hallelujah!  God warns us that it we seek and pursue pleasure, we will have an empty life.  Pleasure is something enticing and tempting, but the truth is it is temporary, especially the pleasures of the flesh.  And if we seek them and live by them, we will have a wasted life.  So stop and bring some senses into your mind and know that an accomplished life is a life with God.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for a wonderful day!  Thank You for an amazing reminder that our lives has its purpose and that is to pursue You alone.  To pursue anything pleasurable for the flesh here on earth is temporary and to chase them will create an empty life for us.  Give us wisdom Lord to live an accomplished life and to realize that a productive life is a life with You!  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Title: Let Justice Prevails
Scriptures: Proverbs 21:15

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:

Amazing day with Jesus!  Today, I choose verse 15 of Proverbs 21. It says, Good people celebrate when justice triumphs, but for the workers of evil it's a bad day.  I want to emphasize here what the good people celebrates, they celebrate when justice triumphs.  Nowadays, there's a lot of fights, arguments, and debtate but most of the time, people celebrates when they win even if justice was not serve.  So the important matter is to win!  And people are proud of that.  But let us evaluate and review our own beliefs and standards, are we fighting for our rights or for justice?  Because what I noticed is people today, just fight to win, to make a point, to expose their beliefs and what they think is right but there is truly no justice in them.  So the correct perspective in the fight has been lost.  Now, it becomes more important to win the argument than to achieve justice.  How sad.  But God is telling us to evaluate ourselves and to know the true meaning of celebration....it is only when justice prevails, when what is right and true in the eyes of the Lord wins.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for this wonderful truth.  Help me Lord to assess the things I fight or stand or believe in and help me to fight with the purpose of seeking justice triumphs and not for the sake of me winning the argument.  Give me wisdom Lord that I may be able to apply this in my life.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Memory Verse Share for today:
Proverbs 21:15 (The Message Version)

Good people celebrate when justice triumphs, but for the workers of evil it’s a bad day.

The Bible tells us that the "good" people celebrate when justice triumphs, sadly, today people just celebrates when they win a fight, whether it is an argument or a debate.  We see a lot of people fighting for their rights but who can truly say whose rights is true and whose not?  The thing is, winning the fight seems to be more important nowadays than for justice to triumph.  So today, God is telling us to correct our ways and know what's more important and let justice prevails.

Have an amazing morning with the Lord!

Amazing day with Jesus!  Today, I'm reading the rest of chapter 21 but I'm really seeing a lot of good and wise words here so I'll be focusing on 1 verse at a time again.  For today, I want to focus on verse 12, it says, A God-loyal person will see right through the wicked and undo the evil they've planned.  Wow!  Such great words from the Lord.  God opens our eyes to the truth and will allow us to see ahead when needed to ensure that we undo or destroys the evil plans of our enemies.  Isn't that a comforting and assuring thought that God does not only protect and saves us but at times, He allows us to be offensive as well and ensure that whatever evil plans plotted will be ruined.  Amazing!  I just want to internalize this and let it sink into our minds and know that we are called to live right and clean before God and in this process of living, we become a destroyer of evil plans.  Hallelujah!  So we are in truth, a soldier of God!

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, what such great words today!  I am blessed to know that I am not the victim at all times.  In reality, You show us the evil plans ahead so we may destroy its works and never become a victim anymore.  Open my eyes Lord and let me see that I may be Your instrument in destroying evil.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Proverbs 21:12 (The Message Version)

A God-loyal person will see right through the wicked and undo the evil they’ve planned.

Such great and comforting words from our Lord today.  God opens our eyes to see ahead so we can undo/destroy the evil plans against us.  Isn't it great to know that God doesn't only saves or protect us but He also uses us to fight evil and destroy their plans?  So with God by our side, we no longer become the victims, we become God's partner (Like Robin with Batman) in saving the world against evil.  Let's save the world with Jesus today!

Title: God Examines Our Motives
Scriptures: Proverbs 21:1 - 8

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:

Amazing day with Jesus!  We are now in Proverbs 21 and i'll be reading from verse 1 to 8 only for today.  The title of today's reading is "God Examines Our Motives" - Now that's the truth and although, most of the time we pretend like God doesn's know, it doesn't change the fact that God sees our true motives.  I love the all the 8 verses because it speaks about simple and logical wisdom that we all ought to be doing in life.  But I want to focus on verse 1 and 3.  Verse 1 says that Good leadership is a channel of water controlled by God; He directs it to whatever ends He chooses.  If you are in a position of leadership today, it could be that you're in a leadership position at work, or at home or even in your group of friends, you ought to evaluate yourself and identify if you have good leadership in place.  Good leadership comes only from God - it doesn't necessarily mean that you have to be a priest or a pastor to become a good leader, but definitely, you need to have God by your side.  And that's why we need to nurture our relationship with the Lord.
The 2nd verse that I life to talk about is verse 3, it says, Clean living before God and justice with our neighbors mean far more to God than religious performance.  Now, this clearly, shows the importance of living right each day and treating others right.  It means far more than any religious performance, like going to church, giving your tithes, attending fellowships, etc.  Although, it does not replaces it.  So we still do those things but let's make sure what's more important.  No matter how many times you go to church every week but if you continue to live in sin - it doesn't matter.  No matter how generous and consistent you've been giving your tithes when you're not treating others with love and respect they deserve, it doesn't matter.  So let's make sure to see the greater value of the things we do in life.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for such great learning today.  Help me Lord to always seek Your guidance to have good leadership either at work, family or friends.  Help me Lord to always listen and obey so I may show good leadership that only comes from You.  Help me Lord to correct my ways and to ensure that I live right and clean and treat others with love.  Remind me Lord of what is more important and to ensure that I follow Your word each day.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Memory Verse Share for today:
Proverbs 21: 3 (The Message Version)

Clean living before God and justice with our neighbors mean far more to God than religious performance.

No matter how many times we go to church or attend services or give our tithes or pray, if we continue to live in sin - everything is useless.  The Bible tells us that living clean before God and justice with our neighbors are far more valuable than any religious activities.  Although it is not a replacement.  So from today, let's make sure that we live right before God and treat others with the love and respect they deserve.

Title: The Very Steps We Take
Scriptures: Proverbs 20:21 - 30

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:

Amazing day with Jesus!  What a great time to just learn and absorb the Lord's words today.  Proverbs 20:21 - 30, the last part of the chapter.  I want to emphasize verse 24 because somehow it summarizes everything that we need to do in life.  Verse 24 says, "The very steps we take come from God; otherwise how would we know where we're going?" This just makes full sense to me.  I mean, we plan everything in our lives but the best plan is still God's because only He sees everything and whatever possible outcome there is.  So why not just depend on every step we take from Him, isn't that the most logical and wisest decision to make?  In verse 27, it says that God is in charge of human life, watching and examining us inside and out.  So everyday God watches and examines us, HE is in charge of us so allow Him to guide your every step in life today.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, what a marvelous day.  Thank You for it.  Thank You for the strength each day and for guiding my every step.  Lord I commit my every decision to You.  Help me make the right ones Lord because I know that You alone can direct me to the path fitting for my life.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Memory Verse Share for today:
Proverbs 20:24 (The Message Version)

The very steps we take come from God; otherwise how would we know where we're going?

We can plan our lives the way we want it but in the end, let us remember to choose the plan God has for us always because only He sees everything and whatever possible outcome there is in every path we take.  So be wise and choose His ways...it's the most logical and wisest decision you'll make.

Be blessed!

Title: Drinking from the Chalice of Knowledge
Scriptures: Proverbs 20:12 - 20

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:

Amazing day with Jesus!  What a great day to praise the Lord!   Hallelujah!  Glory to You alone Jesus!  Today is such an awesome day to have so let's start it right by feeding our spirit :)

I'm reading Proverbs 20:12 - 20 today.  The title is "Drinking from the Chalice of Knowledge" and this is what we should be doing daily, to eat and drink from the Chalice of knowledge and table of wisdom.  Out of these verses, I want to point out one that speaks to me today.  There are actually 2: Verse 17 and 18.  Verse 17 says, "Stolen bread tastes sweet, but soon your mouth is full of gravel." How true and very wise.  Sometimes it is easy to take the easy path, no matter what it will cause us, so long as we get what we want and although it may taste sweet or feels awesome for a moment, the Bible tells us that soon, our mouth will be full of gravel.  In short, the sweetness of what we're trying to achieve will turn to bitter because of the crooked way we tried to achieve it.  So in the end, no matter how valuable the price is if it's not achieve in the right process, its value diminishes.

The 2nd verse that I want to focus on is verse 18, it says, "Form your purpose by asking for counsel, then carry it out using all the help you can get." God has given us an advise thousands of years before that is clearly logical and powerful then as it is now.  He says plan and ask help to achieve your goals.  The Lord tells us that we need help.  We can't do it alone.  So form your plans/purpose then seek help from others or from God Himself.  What an amazing wisdom that is truly a classic, very useful then as it is now.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, what a wonderful and great lessons today.  I am blessed to know that You have written and set aside these amazing truth for us thousands and thousands years ago and if we have known this beforehand, we could have avoided making foolish mistakes.  Truly Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light onto my path.  Thank You Lord.  Help me to apply this in my life daily.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Memory Verse for today:
Proverbs 20:17 (The Message Version)

Title: Test The Spirit
Scriptures: 1 John 4:1-2

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:

Amazing Day with Jesus!  Today, I was in shocked to view a news article in Facebook that for me, it's just plainly unacceptable!  I came across this article from worldtruth.tv that says Pope Francis said that God instructed him to revise the 10 commandments (http://worldtruth.tv/pope-francis-god-has-instructed-me-to-revise-the-ten-commandments/).  Upon seeing the title, my natural instinct was to react but then I stopped myself and decided to open the article and read it.  Because I want to know the truth before jumping into any conclusion, although, all of me just can't stand the thought of changing the Word of the Lord.  Upon reading, I can confirm that Pope Francis indeed declared to the world that God has instructed him to revise the 10 commandments to include some minor changes.  The Pope said the updated Commandments reflect the changing times and include some minor rewording of the existing rules as well as the addition of two new Commandments.  It was shocking and clearly, wrong!  But I further, investigated as per my sister's advise, and I found out that it was nothing but fiction, purely rumor.  But the 1st reaction that came upon me was outrage.  I was in shocked and angry for in my mind, I couldn't understand the nerve of a man to change the word of the Lord...then it made me realize that at times, we are quick to believe what we see or read without really investigating further.  We are quick to take actions or react on what we heard when we haven't have all the facts yet.  Good thing that my sister reminded me to check all news sources and confirm it's credibility and I found out that it was a fake.  And for this reason, God reminded me in 1 John 4:1 - 2, "My dear friends, many false prophets are in the world now. So don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are from God. 2 This is how you can recognize God’s Spirit. One spirit says, “I believe that Jesus is the Messiah who came to earth and became a man.” That Spirit is from God."  So let's  make sure to test the spirit at all times and not react immediately.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You so much for Your love and for looking out for me always.  Thank You for warning me and for reminding me to test the spirit at all times and not to believe immediately.  Lord thank You for using my sister to remind me of this.  Help me Lord to discern and be wise in this aspect as You have warned us that there are many false teachers/prophets in the world.  Thank You Jesus for Your goodness and for protecting me at all times.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Memory Verse Share today:
1 John 4:1 - 2

My dear friends, many false prophets are in the world now. So don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are from God. 2 This is how you can recognize God’s Spirit. One spirit says, “I believe that Jesus is the Messiah who came to earth and became a man.” That Spirit is from God.

God has warned us of many false prophets/teachers in the world and He has reminded us to always test the spirit.  Let us make sure to equip ourselves with God's words too so we can discern and identify those that are not of Him.  The enemy is a deceiver, he is a wolf dress as sheep, so be careful and always ask God to show you the truth.

Be blessed today!

Title: Are You Ready For Eternity?
Scriptures: Matthew 4:4; John 4:23-24; Matthew 7:21-23

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:

Imagine a long long, never ending rope.  The first 5inches of the rope is dark red then the rest is colored white.  And imagine this rope as your life.  The 5 inches Red rope represents our lives here on earth and the rest of the white rope which is never ending is our lives in eternity.

Many times we are so busy trying to make things good and preparing for our future on earth like for our retirement or when we reach a certain age that we forget that it's just still within the first 5 inches of our lives.  We still have eternity but we only get ready and prepare for the life we have on earth.

Our lives on earth is a training ground for what is to come - our life with the Lord.  And we ought to prepare ourselves for what is to come (the life in eternity) and focus on that more instead of what little life we have left here on earth.

So let us evaluate our lives and ask ourselves if we are ready for eternity?  What do we need to at least consider and prepare for here on earth for our lives with the Lord in eternity?

Here are 3 things that I believe we need to practice on earth as it will be sure to be our nature in our lives with God in eternity.

1) Feed our spirit

Jesus answered by quoting Deuteronomy: “It takes more than bread to stay alive. It takes a steady stream of words from God’s mouth.” Matthew 4:4

Have we taught ourselves to feed our spirit with God's words?  Remember, only our spirit goes to eternity, our bodies will remain on earth.  And if our spirit lives to eternity have we prepared it to live in every word of God which is what gives life to our spirit?

Have we trained ourselves to be consistent eating God's words daily?
There will be no lechon, bbq, pasta, pizza, steak, or any other meat we eat for our physical bodies in eternity but one thing is sure, God's words will remain forever and it will be our main source of food when we move on to our lives with Him in eternity.

So are you ready?  Has your spirit been trained to get nutrition from God's words?  Evaluate yourselves today and see if you're ready for eternity?

2) Develop an attitude of praise and worship and thanksgiving

It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship. God is sheer being itself—Spirit. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration.” - John 4:23-24

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” - NIV John 4:23-24

God is a Spirit and He seeks those who worship Him in spirit and in truth.  This is what the Father wants and have we develop this attitude in our lives?

When John wrote revelation and he wrote his vision of heaven, he saw people praising and worshipping God...so one thing is true, when we get there or when we enter the promise land, an attitude of praise and worship is another vital attitude we must have because this is what the Father seeks.

So are we able to practice praise, worship and thanksgiving here on earth?  Even at difficult times?  I read an article and the writer said, praise is not the inevitable byproduct that comes when everything is going right in our lives; it is the driving force.

Praise will get our focus where it needs to be—on God. If we start praising God in the middle of our problems, our problems will shrink so much that we’ll hardly remember to bring them to God! We’ll be so busy praising Him and thanking Him for His blessings that our problems will be an afterthought.

So evaluate yourself again, are you able to praise God, worship and thank Him at all times here on earth because for sure, we will need this attitude when we live our lives with Him in eternity

3) Build your relationship with Jesus

Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

This is really something that we have to focus on.  The most crucial training we will have on earth.  Building our relationship with Jesus!  Remember, our lives in eternity will be spent with the Lord and if we are not able to build that relationship here on earth, the Lord might not recognize us when we enter the promise land and will tell say that He doesn't know us.

If we take care of our relationship with people on earth because we know it is important, how much more should we take care of our relationship with God?

In truth, the only relationship we all should be taking care of is our relationship with God.  I'm not saying that we isolate ourselves and not care with other people...but even if you have everyone as your enemy, and only have God as your friend, You are still the majority!  Remember Elijah?  He was an enemy of Jezebel, when Jezebel went after him, he had to run to the caves, yet everything he needs were provided.  He was taken care of the Lord.  So if we value the relationship we have with the people or friends we have on earth, we must all the more value the relationship we have with the Lord.  Because we will be spending our lives with Him in eternity.

So evaluate ourselves today, are our spirit ready when we get there?  Already trained to feed from God's words?  Are our attitude right, trained to praise, worship and thank God at all times no matter what circumstances we are in?  Are our relationship with God solid that when we get there, God will say, Welcome Khristy, tell me more about Your life on earth.  I want to hear about your experience again.  Or will He say, "I'm sorry, I do not know you."

Title: Trust God Alone
Scriptures: Proverbs 20:1 - 11

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:

Amazing day with Jesus! Today I'm moving on the next chapter of Proverbs, chapter 20:1-11.  Out of the 11 verses, 3 verses stood out for me.  Verse 6 and 8-9.  Verse 6 says, Lots of people claim to be loyal and loving but where on earth can you find one?  Verses 8-9 says, Leaders who know their business and care keep a sharp eye out for the shoddy and cheap, for who among us can be trusted to be always diligent and honest?  Wow!  The wisest man on earth asked, where on earth can you find a person who is loyal and loving?  Even business leaders who care for their business keep a sharp eye because king Solomon again asked, who among us can be trusted to be always diligent and honest?  No one is perfect - this is true!  But these verses made me evaluate my own self.  I mean, I can say that I am loving and I am loyal and that I am diligent and honest - but then am I really?  I mean, no one is all the time.  This gives us warning that although, we want to trust others when they betray us or hurt us, we should somehow be ready for it because no one can be fully trusted except God.  That's why the statement that says trust no man is true because you can't really trust man, you better put your trust only to God!  Because He is the only person who is the same yesterday, today and forever.  Amen!

Prayer:
Lord Jesus thank You for the warning again and again.  Thank You because You are my only hope and the only person I can truly trust.  Help me Lord to understand that man is inconsistent and although, I may give my trust in man, if they break it, I will remember Your words and prepare my hearts.  Give me wisdom Lord to deal with people on earth and to fully trust You alone.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Memory Verse Share for today:
Proverbs 20:6 (The Message Version)

Lots of people claim to be loyal and loving, but where on earth can you find one?

Wow!  What a powerful wisdom from God through King Solomon, the wisest king ever lived on earth.  The Bible warns us of man's inconsistency. No matter how good a person is, no one is perfect.  That's why it is only wise to fully trust God only because He is the same yesterday, today and forever.  I'm not saying we don't trust man anymore and isolate ourselves from others, but I'm saying to trust God fully instead in everything because He is the only person who will never fail us.

Have a blessed day!

Title: God Paid Our Debts In Full
Scriptures: Proverbs 19:17

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:

Amazing day with Jesus!  Today, I did something that made me question my decision on whether I am choosing the right path or the wrong one.  So after everything's done, I went and read God's word and I was feeling discouraged because there were multiple verses that somehow shows how my action was wrong and not right but I went on to read the whole chapter 19 again.  Then I came across verse 17, it says, "Mercy to the needy is a loan to God, and God pays back those loans in full." Hallelujah!  I recognize that I may have done something that is not completely right in the eyes of man, so today, I asked God to pour out His mercy to the needy.  Thank You Lord for Your mercy.  And for paying back this loan in full.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I am a little torn today because of what I had to do and although, I made a decision to do it.  I take full responsibility and so today, I seek Your mercy and Grace.  I seek for Your compassion and favor.  Lord, I am human and my reasoning does not justify my actions so today, I ask for Your forgiveness and mercy Lord.  See me as someone who made a mistake and seeking for Your mercy and grace.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

What an amazing love God has for us!  We are all in need of God's mercy each day and His words tell us that mercy is a loan to God yet He pays them back in full!  Such great love the Lord has for us!  We all recognized that we're not perfect.  We are sinners but God's mercy is upon us every day.  This mercy we get is our debt but God already paid it in full for us!  Amazing! Recognize God's amazing love for you today :)

Title: Be Smart And Show Your Glory
Scriptures: Proverbs 19:11

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:

Amazing day with Jesus!  Today, we have one of the wisest words from God.  Verse 11 says, "Smart people know how to hold their tongue; their grandeur is to forgive and forget" - Today God tells us to be smart.  It's so easy to speak out our minds and just let out what is in our heart but often times, it is the start of conflict and issues.  So God tells us to be smart!  Hold our tongue...but most importantly, forgive and forget.  Yes, it is easier said than done but the truth is, it can be done!  And according to verse 11, to forgive and forget is your greatness, your beauty, your glory!  Remember, hold your tongue and forgive and forget.  Be smart and show your glory today!

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, what an amazing word!  I am blessed to have a teacher like You who gives me wise words to live by each day.  Thank You Lord for reminding me to be smart and to forgive and forget.  Help me Lord to know how to keep my mouth shut especially when my emotions are at its peak.  Help me Lord to forgive and forget.  I acknowledge that it is hard to do, but I can do it with Your help!  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Memory Verse Share today:
Proverbs 19:11 (The Message Version)

Smart people know how to hold their tongue; their grandeur is to forgive and forget.

It's so easy to just speak your minds and hearts out!  There's a certain release when we do so but know that it is not the smart thing to do.  Being smart is not about being quiet but knowing how to hold your tongue when there's a need to.  To forgive and forget is another difficult thing to do, but it is something we can do!  And God says that to do so is our splendor, our glory, our greatness.  So today, let's be smart and show our glory by knowing how to hold our tongue and practice forgiving and forgetting.

Title: Take Responsibility for your Actions
Scriptures: Proverbs 19:3

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:

Amazing day with Jesus!  Today there's one verse in Proverbs 19, it's a question that no one is able to answer.  When in fact, this question should never be asked if man sees the truth.  I'm referring to verse 3, the Bible says, "People ruin their lives by their own stupidity, so why does God always get blamed?" Isn't this so true?  We all have freedom to choose, the gift of free-will, but when things go rough or tough in our lives because of our own choices...we then blame God.  We ask why He's making us suffer or why He made this happen.  Or that He doesn't cares for us.  I am amazed that man wants to be independent yet doesn't know how to take accountability of their actions.  It's sad really.  I know at one point, I am guilty of this.  Questioning God for something He didn't do, yet I have snapped out of it and we all should!  Because the truth is, the Lord wants what's best for us, and we ruin that for us with the choices we make each day.  So the next time you are tempted to ask God, "Why?" - don't!  What happens to you, is the result of the choices you make...you should ask yourself that question then learn from it, move on and make the right choices moving forward.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for a great revelation.  Truly, many people have made You the enemy when in truth, You are the only person who is on our side at all times - even when at times we are turning against ourselves. Help us Lord to be wise each day and to see that You only wants what's best for us and may we realize that the best thing to do is to allow You to take control of our lives.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Memory Verse Share for today:
Proverbs 19:3 (The Message Version)

People ruin their lives by their own stupidity, so why does God always get blamed?

I have found myself guilty of this.  It's amazing how we all want to be independent at all times and be free, yet we are not mature enough to take accountability for the actions we take.  Sad but true!  So the next time, you are tempted to ask God, "Why?" - STOP! Most of the time what happens to you is the result of the choices you make...you should ask yourself that question then learn from it, move on and make the right choices moving forward!

Title: God’s Rules Preserve Your Life
Scriptures: Proverbs 19:16

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:

Amazing day with Jesus everyone!  Today, we are looking at the verses in chapter 19 of Proverbs.  So many powerful and great words that at times, it's hard which word to choose.  But today, I found verse 16 very fitting.  Many people today hate rules - at times I am one of them.  It feels like rules restrict us and imprison us.  However there is a purpose why rules exists.  Proverbs 19:16 says, "Keep the rules and keep your life; careless living kills" Amen!  This is true indeed!  When people are just allowed to do what they want without rules, they have the tendency to do crazy things that end up losing their lives.  Rules strictly guide us to do what is right and preserve our lives.  So don't complain of the rules you have to follow each day.  Know that they are there to guide you in keeping your life.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for a wonderful word today.  Thank You for reminding us that rules exist for its purpose and the best rules to follow are the ones You set up.  Help us Lord to have a humble heart and teachable one to follow and obey Your rules.  Give us the wisdom to choose to follow even if everyone or everything seems to point to a carefree life.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Memory Verse Share for today:
Proverbs 19:16 (The Message Version)

Keep the rules and keep your life; careless living kills.

It's so tempting to live a life without rules, to do whatever you want whenever you want to, but remember rules are there for a purpose and the Bible tells us that it is our guide to keep our lives. The enemy tells us to disregard rules and live a careless life, to be free!  But in truth, a careless life leads to death.  So when you are faced with rules or new ones that will require you to adjust and change, remember they exist for a reason.  The best rules to follow are God's rules for His rules preserve our lives.

Have an amazing day with Jesus everyone!

Amazing day with Jesus!  Today, I want to pick one verse from Chapter 19 again because God's words are just powerful and full that to skip the other verses and move on to the next chapter for me is just a mistake.  So today, I want us to back up a little and focus on verse 8, "Grow a wise heart-you'll do yourself a favor; keep a clear head-you'll find a good life." - what a great advice!  Today is the day of the Lord, although every day is really the Lord's day but on earth, Sunday is known to be the day of the Lord because that's when people go to church.  So on this day, let's grow up and leave the childish things away and stop being foolish.  Let's grow a wise heart because it is for our own good.  A good life is found in a clear head.  What does it mean having a clear head?  This does not mean that our minds should not have anything in it.  The Lord did not say a blank mind, He said a clear mind.  What makes our minds messy?  Only with worries, doubts, overthinking, etc.  And God is saying have a clear mind by trusting God.  Stop worrying, over-analyzing or doubting...have faith and fully trust the Lord in His ways for You.  Also to emphasize on the 1st statement about growing a wise heart - a wise heart is a heart that comes from God.  So having a wise heart meanings doing yourself a favor and this comes from God only; having a clear head is to trust God then good life will be found.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for Your wonderful words.  Thank You Lord that to have a wise heart only comes from You and to clear our head means to trust You fully, only then will we find good life.  Help me Lord to implement this word to my life each day that I may learn to seek Your heart and trust You each day!  In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Proverbs 19:8 (The message Version)

Grow a wise heart - you'll do yourself a favor; keep a clear head - you'll find a good life.

A wise heart is a heart that follows after God's own heart.  Seek God's heart and you'll find out that it is the good thing to do for yourself; What makes the mind messy?  Worries? Doubts? Overthinking or over-analyzing?  I know I'm guilty.  But today, God is saying, clear your minds with worries and doubts, trust God and only then will you find a good life!

Have a blessed Sunday!
