Title: Psalm 135.

Scriptures: Psalm 135:1 - 21

God’s Message/Promise/Commands:

It's a good day to praise God!  Today, Psalm 135 teaches just that!  To praise God's Name and all His works.  Let's shout Hallelujah because He is good.  Why do we all this?  Because He has chosen Jacob, because He has chosen us and embraced us as a prize possession.  Hallelujah!

Let us remember the works of the Lord in our lives and give thanks to Him.  The author of this chapter remembered what God did to Egypt, how God fought the king of the Amorites, Og of Bashan and every last one of the Canaanite kings, for what purpose?  So He can give their land over to Israel, a gift of good land to His people.  God has done the same for us!  He is fighting every enemy, every king standing against our way in our journey to God's promise land for us (Heaven).  We can be assured that God is at war with our enemies and we ought to be at war with Him against our enemies!  so let's fight our battles with the Lord on our side against sin!  And live our lives each day growing in Godliness.  Amen!  God God is eternal and He is never out of date.  He holds our hands on our journey.  So bless Him, Praise the Lord, worship Him, because He deserves it!

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, what a great reminder that You are fighting are battle for us but we need to stand and pick a side in this war.  Help me Lord each day to choose Your side, to choose Your path and show me Your powerful hand working mightily in my life daily so that it will drive me and assure me that indeed I have chosen the right path in choosing You each day of my life.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!
