→ These are the
kings of the land whom the Israelites had defeated and whose territory they
took over east of the Jordan, from the Arnon Gorge to Mount Hermon, including
all the eastern side of the Arabah: Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in
Heshbon. He ruled from Aroer on the rim of the Arnon Gorge—from the middle
of the gorge—to the Jabbok River, which is the border of the Ammonites. This
included half of Gilead. He also ruled over the
eastern Arabah from the Sea of Galilee[a] to the Sea of the Arabah
(that is, the Dead Sea), to Beth Jeshimoth, and then southward below the
slopes of Pisgah. And the territory of
Og king of Bashan, one of the last of the Rephaites, who reigned in
Ashtarothand Edrei. He ruled over Mount Hermon, Salekah, all of Bashan to
the border of the people of Geshur and Maakah, and half of Gilead to
the border of Sihon king of Heshbon. Moses, the servant of the Lord, and the Israelites conquered them. And
Moses the servant of theLord gave
their land to the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh to be
their possession. Here is a list
of the kings of the land that Joshua and the Israelites conquered on the west
side of the Jordan, from Baal Gad in the Valley of Lebanon to Mount Halak, which rises toward
Seir. Joshua gave their lands as an inheritance to the tribes of Israel
according to their tribal divisions. The
lands included the hill country, the western foothills, the Arabah, the
mountain slopes, the wilderness and the Negev. These were the lands of the Hittites,
Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. These were the kings:
the king of Jericho, the king of Ai (Bethel), the king of Jerusalem, the king
of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon, the
king of Gezer, the king of Debir, the king of Geder, the king of Hormah, the
king of Arad, the king of Libnah, the king of Adullam, the king of Makkedah,
the king of Bethel, the king of Tappuah, the king of Hepher, the king of Aphek,
the king of Lasharon, the king of Madon, the king of Hazor, the king of Shimon
Meron, the king of Akshaph, the king of Taanach, the king of Megiddo, the king
of Kedesh, the king of Jokneam in Carmel, the king of Dor (in Napthali Dor),

NOTES:
Ø
God
allows enemies with large territories and authorities to join forces against us
so when He defeats them for and with us, He gives everything they own to
us! Speaking of Transferring of wealth
from the wicked to the righteous! God
works in ways we could not imagine or understand. At times we were thinking that the whole
world is against us but little did we know that God allows it so when He wins
the battle of all the overwhelming problems in our lives, our territories are
expanded (this may speak of wealth, influence, power, authority, etc). Remember everything that happens in our lives
work together for our good so even the problems that come in our lives, no
matter how big or many they are, they come together and God allows it for a
purpose. So Praise the Lord for
everything because whether good or bad, we know that our God allows it for our
own good always! Hallelujah!
Prayer:
Lord Jesus thank You for Your love because it drives everything to
work together for our good. Lord blessed
is Your love and Grace. Almighty God, I
am truly amazed and in great awe for Your works in our lives. Thank You for Your amazing grace and love
that is fresh and renew every morning!
Lord help me to remember that everything happens for a reason and You
always ensure that it is for my good.
Lord let me see Your work in my life and show me the plans You have for
me. Let me see Your wonders and hands
working in amazing ways at all times.
Thank You Lord because I can be assured in You and I can put my trust in
You fully without fear because You make things work together for my own
good. Thank You Jesus! I love You.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
